Blu was purchased in Chicago, then sail all the way to Chile ,South America. Starting with a family crew sailing through the great lakes from lake Michigan, Huron, Erie, Ontario, Saint Lawrence river to Quebec City. From Quebec, JP del Solar sailed single handled to Boston, and to Miami. In Miami boarded Matias del Solar (# 4 ISAF Laser Ranking), Cristian Haeussler, Rodrigo Urrutia, Bernardo Bravo. In front of Nicaragua Blu was attacked by Pirates armed who robbery lots of stuffs, but without injury the crew. thanks god..
from Panama to Talcahuano Blu was handled by JP and Anthony Norris (13) who sailed 22 days on the pacific at 1,000 miles away from shores... Now Blu is in Puerto Montt sailing in the south fiords of Chile...
